Find your medicine nearby

Pharmacies near you share which hard-to-find medicines they have in stock. Search, then call ahead before you go.

Not for emergencies: call 999, or NHS 111 for urgent advice. NearShelf shows what pharmacies report, not medical advice.

How to get your prescription there

  1. 1

    Call the pharmacy first

Stock changes quickly. Check they still have it, and how long they'll keep it.

  2. 2

    Get your prescription sent there

If your prescription is with another pharmacy, ask them to release it so this one can download it. If it's not issued yet, ask your GP surgery to send it there. You can also change your nominated pharmacy in the NHS App.

  3. 3

    Collect it

The pharmacy dispenses it as normal. A paper prescription? Just take it with you.

We don't ask who you are, and we don't keep your location: it's used for this search, then forgotten.
